An exceptional antique Malayer rug, hand woven circa 1900. The design features an allover design of large palmettes on a deep indigo field and small ivory border decorated with roses. Fabulous secondary colours including pinks and greens and a highly decorative piece

This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
