Fine George II Burr Walnut Bureau

Description

This attractive George II walnut bureau with cross banded inlay. The fall front is an elegantly designed interior consisting of six small drawers with the sliding door with pigeon holes, and a lockable inlay centre cupboard. The furniture standing on original offset shaped bracket feet with cross grain mouldings. The drawer’s interior is made for hardwood (Oak) to ensure a longer durability.

The Bureau is in original antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with functional antique furniture. Structurally sound, and there is no evidence of any woodworm.
