The carvings to the arms are super sculptural and have a wonderful timber patina This sofa has been totally and utterly restored, it has been stripped back to the bare frame, all the joints have been glued and clamped, the exposed timber has been washed back and then French polished by a third-generation French polisher. It�s then been rebuilt using the original horse hair padding and coil springs throughout. The leather upholstery is all genuine vintage heritage hide, it has been in storage for 40 years and has beautifully aged.
