A high quality English solid sterling silver match striker. It is hallmarked for London 1961 with the maker being Asprey & Co Ltd. It has been superbly designed with a rimmed glass base and sterling silver rim. It is in good condition being free from splits chips cracks and repair. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cm) across by the same in height and weighs 212 grams. A very unusual example.
