In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1940s.
A particularly large example of an original enamel pendant light by Thorlux, c.1940.
They hang on a metal rod which has a small ceiling fitting, designed to be screwed directly to the ceiling. They could be converted to a chain hanging if preferred.
They are in good original condition and display well. There are signs of age and wear but no major losses or damages. They are ready to install but we would always recommend that the light is checked and fitted by a professional electrician.

Height including hanging fitting : 39" (99cm)
Height to top of light : 18" (46cm)
