A beautiful English Victorian antique solid sterling silver two handle cup or bowl. It is hallmarked for London 1893 with the maker being Samuel Jacob. It has been superbly made being embossed with a vacant cartouche and interestingly set with a 1819 silver coin. It is in superb condition, having no dings, splits, holes or repairs. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) wide including the handles and 3.5 inches (9.3cm) excluding them by 2.5 inches (6.3cm) to the top of the handles and weighs 78 grams. A beautiful piece.
