Antique Victorian Silver Plated Biscuit Barrel / Caddy C1880

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian silver biscuit barrel/box/caddy measuring 7 1/2" (19 cms) tall to the lid x 8" (20 cms) across x 6" (15 cms) and dating to around the 1880's.

It has the makers mark for Philip Ashberry & Sons who become '& Sons' in 1856.

It's in super condition and perfectly usable today.

It has lovely engraved decoration with a bone pull, sits on four pierced feet and has no inscriptions or monograms.
