Antique Art Deco Sterling Silver Cruet Set in Case 1931

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a super antique Art Deco sterling silver 5 piece cruet set consisting of a pair of peppers, a pair of salts with spoons and a mustard with spoon.

The pair of peppers measure 3" (8 cms) tall, the salts are 1 1/2" (4 cms) across and the mustard is 2 1/2" (6.5 cms) across including the handle and they all have matching hallmarks for London 1931 with the silversmiths marks for J.W.BensonLtd - the inside of the case is also marked with the retailers mark for J.W.Benson Ltd, Ludgate Hill, London, E.C.

The mustard spoon is Chester 1931 and the salt spoons are marked Birmingham 1931

The mustard and salts come with their original blue glass liners and the whole lot is in excellent condition and perfectly usable and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The silver alone weighs 161g / 5.1 troy oz
