High quality English antique solid sterling silver asparagus, vegetable, or sandwich serving tongs. They are hallmarked for London 1804 with the maker being William Eley I & William Fearn. They are highly sprung and in good working order. They have been engraved with the family crest of a swan on water possibly used by the Walker family. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 9 inches (23cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) wide by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across the grips and they weigh an impressive 158 grams. Super quality examples.
