Description

A super quality rare English solid sterling silver tea strainer and drip bowl stand. The strainer is hallmarked for London 1945 with the maker being R E Stone (the drip bowl is dated London 1947, again R E Stone, obviously a set just assayed in different years before being assembled into the set). It has a beautiful hand made Arts and Crafts design and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The strainer measures approx. 5 inches (12.4cms) across including the handles and 2.75 inches (7cms) across excluding them by 1.25 inches tall on its stand. The two pieces together weigh 123 grams. A very well made rare set.
