Antique Unengraved Carnelian Set Fob with Ornate Ring Tests 14ct Gold

Description

A highly decorative antique set fob with ornate ring. The fob is set with an unengraved carnelian, and the stone and its setting have an attractive shaped edge like eight petals. The main body and the spilt ring are intricately engraved.

The fob is not hallmarked but tests as14ct gold

 

Period: Georgian

Condition: In good antique condition; the stone has some scratching to the surface. Please note, the split ring has been joined, it does not open.

 

Measurements: Ring diameter: 1.8cm Fob height 2.5 cm Fob diameter: 1.7 cm Weight 10.93 grams

Weights and measurements are approximate.
