Description

Exquisite, late Victorian period Austro-Hungarian silver, glass and enamel lidded pot; of circular form, resting on three winged paw feet. Of the very finest quality by probably the best Viennese silversmith of the time, the blue glass body and lid are cased in foliate decorated borders with column supports; the lid is decorated in a similar manner with a white enamel surround to the urn finial. Absolutely enchanting, a real masterpiece.
