Rare Pair Sterling Silver Sugar Sifter Spoons Shakespeare Stratford Antique 1891

Description

A very unusual pair of English antique solid sterling silver sugar sifter spoons. They are hallmarked for Birmingham 1891 with the makers mark being that of George Unite. They has been beautifully made having William Shakespeare to their terminals being made as souvenirs of Stratford upon Avon. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the gilding on one is more faded than the other. They measure approx. 4.5 inches (11.3cm) long by 1.5 inches (4cms) wide and combined weigh 21 grams. A very unusual pair.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
