This is a stylish antique silver plated wine bottle holder. This has two curved ribbon type ends that encircle the bottle. The side handle is adorned with a realistic deer head above a vacant shield. The inner arm is hinged and drops forward to enable the bottle neck to slide in. There is a registration kite mark stamped on the upper circle. This is sold in original plate with no sign of wear. c.1880 British made. Wine bottle can be included as it is empty.
