Set of Six Antique Silver Handled Butter Knives

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a set of 6 antique butter knives with sterling silver handles. They are good quality pieces with pretty scrolling detail on the handles. They measure approximately 6 1/4" / 16cm long.

Each piece is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1905, John Round and Son.

They are in good condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and the set displays beautifully. There are signs of age and use, some faint surface marks and some minor dinks on the handles but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The set comes in its original fitted box with a velvet and silk interior. The box is in good condition with some light scuffs and marks around the edges but nothing detrimental.

Depth : 7 1/4" / 18cm
