Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Mustard Pot - 1844

Description

A lovely antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot which is hexagonal in shape with attractive pierced decoration to the body, a plain hinged lid with a pleasing thumb piece on top and resting on a flat base. The blue glass liner fits neatly within the body and remains in excellent condition. There is a crest on top of the lid. This silver mustard pot would make an interesting addition to a collection.

Height: 7.4 cms (2.9")

Length: 10.4 cms (4.1")

Width: 6.5 cms (2.6")

Weight (without the liner): 4.2 troy ounces (132 grams)

It was hallmarked in London for 1844 by John Teare.
