Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Chamberstick - 1898

Description

An antique Victorian sterling silver chamberstick which is circular in shape with a plain body, bead decoration around the borders, a removable nozzle and resting on a flat base. It has a plain side handle with a section to house the silver snuffer and there is a crest on the front of the body. It remains in excellent condition.

Height: 10.3 cms (4")

Diameter of base: 13.4 cms (5.3")

Weight: 8 troy ounces (249 grams)

It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1898 by James Dixon & Sons Ltd.
