Silver Trinket Box with Flower Decoration London 1905 William Comyns & Sons Ltd

A delightful Edwardian trinket box, its lid adorned with a posy of flowers. This is a super box, oval in shape and supported on four footed scroll legs. The box is in smooth polished silver with lily flowers in relief on the lid which fits snugly and has a good hinge.

 

The interior of the box is very sumptuous, with a warm gilt finish to the lid interior and some very regal purple velvet lining the box. The base of the box is covered in leather. A gorgeous item, this box is a nice size to take a precious item of jewellery or other treasures and would make a super gift.

In super condition with only some small surface marks.

 

Hallmarked to the base and the lid as sterling silver, London 1905 by Wm. Comyns & Sons Ltd.
