8" Antique George V Sterling Silver Salver/tray - 1917

Description

An antique George V sterling silver salver/tray which is circular in shape with a plain body, an unusual pierced and detailed body and resting on three pierced feet. This silver salver has been made to the highest standard, as one would expect from Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. and is both practical and pleasing to the eye. It remains in excellent condition.

Height: 2.6 cms (410 grams)

Diameter: 20.7 cms (8.1")

Weight: 13.2 troy ounces (410 grams)

It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1917 by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.
