Size: 5ft 6in x 3ft 5in (168 x 105cm).

Antique Baluch rug with repeat small octagon design.

Circa 1900.

This is a very good small Baluch rug, the design is most unusual with rows of small octagons containing a cross design. The alternating colours give the appearance of diagonal stripes. The border is of a traditional Baluch design. The rug has excellent colour with natural dyes and very soft wool.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile. There are slight losses to the lower end, the end has been secured.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
