Antique Victorian Diamond and Pearl Necklace/choker 15ct Gold Floral Design - C.1900

We are delighted to offer this spectacular antique Victorian 15ct gold diamond and pearl cluster necklace made c.1900. Unlike some counterpart pendants of the period, this piece is slightly more unique and glamorous in the sense that it has been set with both diamonds and pearls.

This pendant features such a lovely floral design with each petal intricately separate from one another, a testament to the impressive level of Victorian goldsmithing.

Each petal is set with two seed pearls of tapering sizes and the inner band is set with 8 old-cut diamonds (estimated 0.7ct total diamonds), alternating in size. The combination of the different sizes and gems makes for a splendid overall design, glistening in all angles under natural daylight.

The centre features one single pearl to top it all off, completing the floral appearance and drawing the eyes to the centre of the pendant.

Due to its versatile size and overall white/gold tone, this pendant is ideal to wear with a wide variety of clothes and styles. We will include both the photographed velvet lace and the modern 9ct gold chain, allowing for a vast array of combinations. The green velvet lace is a wonderful touch to contrast the gold and serves as a choker-like design, whilst the gold chain allows for a more relaxed and contemporary look.

Condition: great antique condition with no major issues/damage. Possible old solder on the reverse side and some pearls have very slight nicks on the base near the mount. This is mentioned for accuracy and is very minor in person without magnification.
