Faithful copy of an important Queen Anne period walnut-framed stool .
. Raised on bold cabriole supports with shell-carved knees onto pad feet , being of free-standing form . The edge of seat-frame with a raised cross-grain moulding .

The drop-in upholstered seat covered with traditional period-style ‘Bargello’ or ‘Irish flame-stitch’ tapestry fabric .
In excellent original condition , having a rich patina and colour . Has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops ready to use .
