The sides of the toast rack are particularly pleasing, forming a lovely wavy pattern with shaping to the curves. With six slots for toast, the rack sits nicely level on a good solid rectangular base, resting on four out-turned integral feet. It has a lovely handle, matching the shape of the dividers.

A lovely 1920's period item, perfect for the breakfast table. In super condition.
Very clearly defined hallmarks can be seen on the base for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark of 1927 along with the maker's marks for silversmiths William Suckling Ltd.
