Georgian Silver Vinaigrette By Joseph Taylor Hallmarked Birmingham 1819

Technical Description
 
A Georgian silver vinaigrette with a beautifully gilded and pierced foliate grille. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1819 and with the makers mark ‘IT’ for Joseph Taylor. The top cartouche holds the monogram letters MAB engraved in fine Victorian script and surrounded by foliate decoration and a star to the underside. There is a hanging loop attached to wear as a pendant.
 
 
Accompanied by its original perfume-scented pad under the grille.

Condition
 
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. The hinges are in full working order.
