Quality 1771 Georgian Sterling Silver Basting Spoon Antique 94g

Description

A superb rare large Georgian solid sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1771 with the makers marks being GS. It has been superbly designed being made to what it termed the Old English Pattern. The handle has been engraved JTH. It is in outstanding condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 11.5 inches (29cms) long by 2 inches (5.1cms) wide and weighs 94 grams. An impressive high quality early piece.
