Vintage Norwegian Silver Gilt Blue & Yellow Enamel Butterfly Brooch by Hroar Prydz

A gorgeous Norwegian vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch. This example has an exceptionally pretty colour combination of aqua blue and shades of yellow ochre, with black and grey accents. The guilloche enamel wings curve slightly to reflect the light and reveal the delicate details. The body, wing edges and antennae and back of the brooch are all in the silver gilt finish.

 

The back of the brooch is marked 'Sterling 925 S Norway' with the mark for the well known Norwegian jewellery designer Hroar Prydz. There is a good fastening clasp at the back and the brooch is in super condition.

 

Measurements: Height: 1.7 cm, Width: 3.1 cm, Weight: 3.87 grams.
