Jack and Jill Silver Nursery Rhyme Spoon Hallmarked Glasgow 1930

An adorable solid silver child's nursery rhyme spoon. A lovely design with a nicely shaped bowl, very suitable for feeding a baby or young child. The handle has a scene depicting the 'Jack & Jill' children's rhyme with and the words 'Jack & Jill' embossed below.

 

On the back of the bowl clear hallmarks are visible for the Glasgow Assay Office with a date mark for 1930 and maker's marks for W H Collins & Co.

A wonderful collector's spoon. Glasgow silver being very desirable.
