English Sterling Silver Tea Strainer and Drip Bowl Stand 1940 Art Deco

Description

A super quality stylish English solid sterling silver tea strainer and drip bowl stand. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1940 with the maker being Elkington & Co Ltd. They have been superbly made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The strainer measures approx. 5 inches (12.6cm) across including the handles and 2.75 inches (7cm) across excluding them by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) tall and the bowl over 2.5 inches (6.6cm) across by 1.25 inches (3cm) tall. They have a combined weight 84 grams. A very well made set.
