Large novelty spoon warmer, a whelk shell lying on a ground of angular rocks and small shells, circa 1875

Makers stamped mark to the base

HA EA FA for Atkin Brothers Sheffield (Harry Wrigth Atkin, Edward Thomas Atkin and Frank Shaw Atkin)

Registered design kite mark for 1871

Electro plated nickel silver (EPNS - hard metal not soft Britannia metal / pewter).

In excellent condition with no damage or repair, little wear to the silver surface.

Removable nut to dismantle for cleaning

Overall width 6,1/2" or 165mm, weight 595 grams
