This is a beauty! A solid sterling silver-topped claret Jug in truly excellent condition.

It is clearly hallmarked for London 1898 with the maker's mark for Hukin & Heath. There are also partial conforming hallmarks on the inside of the lid. It is in a classic design with angular handle and clear glass. The base features a starburst design - always a sign of great quality.
