Robert Bush Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It is decorated with a crown on top of the frame over the date 1902 to commemorate Edward VII's coronation and it also has a horse monogram engraved along the bottom of the frame
It’s hallmarked for London 1901 with the silversmiths mark for J. Batson & Son.
It has a wooden backstand which works perfectly and the whole item is in excellent condition being particularly nice as it has the two openings.
