A vintage art deco diamond set ring. Wonderfully styled, the diamond is in a square setting on a yellow gold square with a circular opening. The scroll shoulders with straight grooved detail curl around either side of the diamond setting, mimicking the circular detail and creating a striking deep gallery.
The combination of round and square features is so 1930''s. This is a beautiful design with great panache.
In lovely vintage condition.
The ring is marked 585 and tests as 14 carat gold.
