Vintage Art Deco Diamond Set Ring with Scroll Shoulders Tests as 14ct Gold Size L

1920 - 1940
Description

A vintage art deco diamond set ring. Wonderfully styled, the diamond is in a square setting on a yellow gold square with a circular opening. The scroll shoulders with straight grooved detail curl around either side of the diamond setting, mimicking the circular detail and creating a striking deep gallery.

 

The combination of round and square features is so 1930's. This is a beautiful design with great panache.

In lovely vintage condition.

 

The ring is marked 585 and tests as 14 carat gold.

Measurements: Ring Size L

Maximum width across setting: (Shoulder to shoulder) 1.6 cm Weight: 2.45g

All weights and measurements are approximate.
