An Unusual Georgian Pierced Bowl Caddy Spoon

This delightful and unusual example is a George III silver caddy spoon, dating from the early 19th Century. The handle is gently curved and decorated with leaf and dot engraving. To the top is a vacant cartouche The bowl is flared, with a row of keyhole cuts and has chequerboard engraved patterns. A lovely and practical piece, both for the collector and the tea enthusiast. Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. There is a small discolouration 'dot' to the bowl, commensurate with with age and use.
