Pair of Victorian Solid Sterling Silver Dolphin & Shell Salt Cellars 1864 Antique 68g

Description

A beautiful pair of Victorian solid sterling silver salt cellars. They are hallmarked for London 1864 with the maker being Robert Hennell II. They have been beautifully made being in the form of shells each with three feet in the form of fish. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, tiny hole on the seem at the back of one but this is a manufacturing fault, the insides are clean. They measure approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across by the same front to back by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and they have a combined weight of 68 grams. A beautiful set.
