Rare Solid Silver Castle Tower Pounce Pot C1880 Antique 84g Victorian Novelty

Description

A rare antique solid silver pounce pot. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1880. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a castle tower. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs, gilded inside. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4.5cm) across the base by 1.5 inches (3.7cm) across the top and weighs 84 grams. A rare piece.
