Mid Century Norwegian Silver Blue Enamel Brooch by Finn Jensen

A stunning vintage silver brooch by the Norwegian jewellery designer Finn Jensen. Styled as a fluid and curvaceous swag that crosses over and loops around with depth and movement. This silver gilt brooch is decorated in guilloche enamel applied in swirling blue stripes, and the sweeping and asymmetric nature of the design means it can be worn and styled in many different ways.

The back of the brooch has a good fastening pin and here the marks are visible: 925S Sterling Norway with the makers mark for Finn Jensen.

 

This brooch will be of great appeal to collectors of mid century modern jewellery and the sumptuous enamel work of Scandinavian designers of this period.
