Antique Silver Double Sovereign Holder

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a Sterling Silver sovereign holder with two spring loaded coin holders for a half sovereign and full sovereign. It is an oval design with a fob watch style design and nice engine turned decoration.

It is good quality and well made and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1902 and the makers Samuel M Levi.

It is in good condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages but it has picked up some small dinks and dents over the years and faint surface marks. However the coin mechanism works well as does the opening and closing and it still displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
