Antique George V Sterling Silver Purse 1915

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautiful antique sterling silver hallmarked purse measuring 4 3/4" (12 cm) across x 3" (8 cm) making it larger than the usual.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1915 with the silversmiths mark for Edwin Joseph Houlston.

It has lovely decoration and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

The inside is lined in a brown leather material which has one small split on one of the joins (see photos) but otherwise everything is in super condition

This lovely purse will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
