Description

This is a superb vintage hallmarked sterling silver christening mug/tankard in it's original presentation case.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1987 with the silversmiths mark for Mappin & Webb - the inside of the case also shows the Mappin & Webb stamp

The mug itself measures 3" (7.5 cms) tall x 2 1/2" (6.5 cms) across the top and weighs 105 grams/3.3 troy oz which gives you some idea of the quality.

It's in excellent condition and is particularly nice as it's gilded inside and decorated with bunnies all around the base.

This lovely mug will come with a certificate of authenticity
