Beautiful German Solid Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Sugar Box 1890 Antique 144g

Description

A beautiful German solid sterling silver tea caddy or sugar box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon & crown mark along with the 925 standard mark. I would date it to c1890-1900. It has been beautifully made being embossed and a cast flower finial to the lid. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cm) across by 2.5 inches (6.4cm) tall and weighs 144 grams. A beautiful piece.
