Description

A super quality heavy English solid sterling silver tea strainer and drip bowl stand. It is hallmarked for London 1947 with the maker being William Comyns & Sons Ltd (Richard Comyns). They have been superbly made with the handle being cast in the form of a cherub. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The strainer measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) across including the handles and 3 inches (7.6cm) across excluding them by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall and the bowl 3 inches (7.6cm) across by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) tall. They have a combined weight 92 grams. A very well made set.
