Antique Silver Plated Basket by Martin Hall & Co C1880

Description

Super quality antique silver plated basket. Standing on an oval pedestal base that is bead mounted with scrolls and shells. The basket has a cast border of grapes leaves and vines. The middle is crisply engraved with scrolls leaves and grapes. With an oval engraving of leaves around a vacant cartouche. The swing handle is also cast with grapes leaves and vines. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Martin Hall & Company stamped on top together with a diamond kite registration mark. This has been resilvered.

Length: 31cm (12.25")

Width: 24.5cm (9.75")
