Rare American Sterling Silver Belt Buckle Bookmark C1890 Antique 22g

Description

A superb rare American solid sterling silver bookmark. It is hallmarked STERLING along with the maker being George W Shiebler who was active in New York from 1876 to 1910. It has been superbly designed and is in good condition being free from dings splits and repairs, it undulates slightly and there are faint scratches and initials but it is quite rare. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) long by over 0.5 inch (1.6cm) wide and weighs 22 grams. A superbly made piece.
