A beautiful heavy English Antique solid sterling silver bowl. It is hallmarked for London 1901 with the makers marks being those of the Mappin Brothers. It has been superbly made having beast cast handles and embossed bows and swags. It is in superb condition, having no dings, splits, holes or repairs. It measures almost 6 inches (15cms) wide including the handles (over 4 inches excluding them) by 2.75 inches (7cms) to the top of the handles and weighs 150 grams. A beautiful clean example.
