A rare stunning solid sterling silver and enamel inkwell. It is hallmarked 925 standard. I would ate it to c1920. It has a beautiful light blue guilloche enamel lid and body with internal gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs, there are marks to the inside lid and a tiny dark mark to the exterior lid, see final photo. It retains its glass liner. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.5cm) across the base by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) across the lid by 1.5 inches 3.8cm) tall and weighs 66 grams. A superbly made high quality piece.
