Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Basket / Cream Pail 1777

Description

This is a super antique Georgian sterling silver cream pail measuring 2 3/4" (7 cms) high to the rim / 4 1/2" (11.5 cms)

high to the top of the handle and 2 3/4" (7 cms) across the top.

It comes complete with blue glass liner and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

It's hallmarked under the base for London 1777 with the silversmiths mark for Thomas Shepherd.

The silver alone weighs 66.2 grams / 2.1 troy oz and it will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity
