Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The combination is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Hallmarks are clearly visible, on both the base and the lid, for the Chester assay office. There is a date mark for 1909 and maker's mark for the silversmiths: Barker Brothers.
Condition: In great antique condition with some minor dimpling to one small section of the base. The glass liner is in super condition with no chips.
