Poirot Art Deco has dated this Art Deco Bronze Sculpture to the 1930s.
Claire Colinet was French sculptor of Belgian birth who worked during the early-to-mid 20th century.
From 1937 to 1940, she exhibited at the Salon des Independents in Paris and joined the Union of Women Painters and Sculptors. During these years she worked mainly in the Art Deco style.

Most of her sculptures were of beautifully figured, dramatic and energetic female forms. She was held in such high regard her work was exhibited posthumously at the Paris Salon for nearly 30 years. Today her work continues to be very highly regarded and sought after, with price’s continuing to increase.
