Cased Silver Christening Set Hallmarked 1961/2 Wm Adams Ltd

A delightful solid silver 3 piece christening / new baby set comprising of egg cup , spoon and napkin ring in original case. All of the items are a lovely plain polished silver with no engraving or embossing. Hallmarks are visible on all for Birmingham Assay Office:, the napkin ring has a date letter for 1961 & the other two pieces are dated 1962. The silversmith's maker's mark for William Adams Ltd is impressed on each item.

 

The set comes in the original black leatherette case with gilded decoration to the lid. The interior is lined with black velvet and cream satin. It's a lovely gift set, especially for a Christening.

 

Condition: All the items included in the set are in super condition. The original box is also in great vintage condition.

 

Measurements: Spoon length 11.3cm Napkin ring: Diameter: 4.5 cm Width 2.6 cm. Egg cup: Height 5.8cm Bowl diameter 4.4cm. Combined weight of silver: 46.5 grams. All measurements are approximate.
